ETA: my concern with all of this (especially for younger DC) is that everyone will just do off-site childcare programs on the off days- which totally defeats the purpose of less exposure and may be overall riskier. Or worse- kids will be their grandparents! No good. Most people I know do not have a nanny or au pair etc. and many cannot work from home. [/quote]
