Old family just wanted to pay me for part time hours, but new family is willing to pay full time to retain me in case of shut downs or schedule changes so I get guaranteed hours. I suggest you do the same if you want to keep reliable childcare. Nannies won’t stick around if they can get paid full time hours somewhere else.
I wouldn’t want you caring for my child, you stupid twat.

The 6th graders (twins) are ok at home alone as needed (though I would not be thrilled will them home alone for full days), but my 4th grader really isn’t yet (other than short periods of an hour or so).
I’m hoping to be able to WFH on the days 4th grader is home. If I really need to, I will look for an aftercare program (off site from school). Some camps are open where I live (day camps) so I’m sure there will be childcare options - even if limited.
My main concern is how schedules between the kids will mesh. It would be nice if they try to put kids from the same family on the same schedule whenever possible. My older two will be in MS and I presume as twins they’d be on the same schedule (or maybe not?) but it would be nice if they took it into account. With my luck my 6th graders & 4th grader will be on completely opposite schedules...

Thanks for the threatening tip that was unrelated to OPs question or anyone who can't afford a nanny. There's a nanny board for these posts.
