We left for SYC last season, and we're gonna stay. There hasn't been any drama or whatever else from teammates or coaches.  I will say though, that Alexandria is a great choice. We were split between Alexandria and SYC, for us it worked out because we knew more of the families/players. We've kept up with some previous families, many are doing the same thing: SYC or Alexandria.  I think one is going for BRYC ( wants ECNL) but they were also looking at Arlington.  Either way, we're happy.[/quote]

+1  I was concerned due to chatter/threads about the issues being with Este.  Based on our experience they have tightened everything up and have a strong training program and built some strong teams.  I wish some other LMVSC parents had joined us but from the ones I spoke to they plan on leaving this year.[/quote]

Yes, there was a shift but I haven't seen any drama. I love the energy the new coaches brought to SYC. It seems like many of the coaches know each other either from high school or college days. They all work really well together. They brought a few "local" friends guest speakers who played professional soccer to talk to the kids. My kids loved that and I love seeing so much local talent!
