Hopefully get enough players to become the new alexandria!
lmvsc and gunston should merge with alexandria
Anything to rebrand. Named after a Confederate General AND plantation while being called the Patriots? lol okay please don’t talk too much about community and being good citizens
So now they aren't about community because of a name established long ago. Not saying that name couldn't be changed but the fact that you seem to insinuate that their message is false because of their name is a bit of BS. Also not true some of the comments that many players are leaving. I'm sure a few are but don't expect many. From talking to parents on my kids' teams there don't seem to be many going.
Im sorry I can’t hear you over the sound of tearing down statues established a long time ago lol nice try though

We left for SYC last season, and we're gonna stay. There hasn't been any drama or whatever else from teammates or coaches. I will say though, that Alexandria is a great choice. We were split between Alexandria and SYC, for us it worked out because we knew more of the families/players. We've kept up with some previous families, many are doing the same thing: SYC or Alexandria. I think one is going for BRYC ( wants ECNL) but they were also looking at Arlington. Either way, we're happy.
+1 I was concerned due to chatter/threads about the issues being with Este. Based on our experience they have tightened everything up and have a strong training program and built some strong teams. I wish some other LMVSC parents had joined us but from the ones I spoke to they plan on leaving this year.

Both teams lack some depth and merging to get some strong teams across the squads would be a benefit for players and parents. The better players are leaving or have left to SYC or Alexandria...we are leaving also.
Where is she going?
SYC, she's up on their website. Coaching 2007 girls and 2011 girls, also Director Of Coaching for Girls U13 and up. We've loved our time at Gunston, but we're also leaving. OP is correct, best players (and the most committed players) are going to SYC or Alexandria.
