We've both got masters' degrees.[/quote] I’m black and I met my white husband at an Ivy where I was getting my MBA and he was getting his MBA/JD. I think that level of education was a big factor in both sets of parents accepting us as a couple which really helped us get started on the right foot. We have both had very good careers and with money not being an issue that has really helped. We have certainly had to deal with racism on both sides but it has always made us tighter as a couple. We don’t have any close friends who are an interracial couple though I wish we did just to compare notes. [/quote]
