You can not control what she does outside of work hours, so this is really about trusting nanny's judgment and character. Do you trust her to make smart decisions when she's not with you? Because there are going to be a ton of unexpected things that come up that you won't even think to have COVID rules for in advance. For example, an emergency home repair, an urgent doctor's visit or friends unexpectedly showing up to visit. It's also really important that your household and nanny's household abide by the same limits. I don't ask nanny to live by any limits that I am not also living by.
