Sounds similar over here!  My husband bought a a shaker set, and we are now systematically going through our hard liquor--which we hadn't touched in years!  Margarita on the rocks with salt rim was delicious.[/quote]

Well my martini the other night was made with a gin from a local distiller called Green Hat, and it was very nice. And to PP, my DH insists that martinis must be stirred, not shaken. On another note: yesterday, I took my DD on one of those driveby birthday celebs, and the birthday girl's mom tossed a can of bubbly rose into the car. It was much better than I would have anticipated.[/quote]
