But they are way too anal retentive (john) to rent out to strangers. The only way I see this working is that they keep it as a family vacation house (for extended family too) and they find a much nicer property to actually move into. She is just plain nuts and has acted like she has never seen a tree before. Yet their Richmond lot had a damn forest behind it.
No way. They’re definitely going to rent it out after they finish renovating it. Remember, they were renting out their duplex all summer, why wouldn’t they rent out another beach house?
Disagree- they will flip it. The duplex in cape Charles showed they are absolutely not cut out for renting. They were obsessed about potential issues and minor details the whole time they rented that place...
I agree. They are not cut out for short term rentals. Renting their beach house was a prime example of that. They were too cheap to hire people to handle the rental and cleaning so instead they ran themselves ragged on turnover day. They are also so obsessed with making everything perfect that they drove themselves into the ground. I think dealing with the rental is what drove them to sell everything. I have also been following them since the beginning and agree that they have changed a lot over the years. Sherry is definitely in some sort of mid-life crisis fueled by Instagram. Now the Florida house- cool they wanted to move, but I agree that they will outgrow this house quickly. Especially as their kids get older and don't want to spend every living minute with their parents or quietly doing crafts in the corner together. I live in a 1600 sq foot house and it's fine but our layout is so much better. We also have a basement we can expand into to give the kids more space. The fact the S needs to over explain everything in an effort to defend what a great decision this house and move were tells me that she is not just trying to convince viewers this is the best thing ever, but also herself.
