If the driver chooses to make a case of this, this will end up being very bad for the HOA president and/or the HOA (if he tries to use HOA funds to cover his legal expenses if he claims he was acting on behalf of the HOA).  At a minimum, it would cost a huge amount in legal fees, most likely they would have to settle the case which would also cost the person or the HOA a fair chunk of money.  This will not end up well for the HOA if the driver makes an issue of it.  The driver was more than tolerant.  If I were him, I would have called the police myself after about 10 minutes.  It looks like Stewart only pretended to call the police since they never came. [/quote]
