If your kids have a few long-term activities and get excellent grades with a challenging workload, they will not be "left behind" in an FCPS HS, even a competitive one. A handful of kids might go to the very top schools but deciding now that it's the only acceptable option for your 11/12/13 year old is not going to do anyone any good. [/quote]
