[/quote] The series has deviated from the books, both in small and big ways. In the books, Murtagh dies during the Battle of Culloden. His character is alive and well in the series, which alters the storyline drastically. I enjoy the surprises. Otherwise, it’s all too predictable. I enjoyed the books (although they are so long!), and will continue to watch the series. They’re under contract for a 6th season, so there will be one more after series 5 which premieres next weekend. [/quote] I wish they would write out Brianna.
