It would make more sense if MCPS figured all this out before making this a requirement.  Now, principals are in a tough position trying to ensure staffing, etc to fulfill this requirement.  Have a plan in place, and then implement the requirements starting next year.  [/quote]

MCPS didn't make it a requirement. Some schools may have decided to make it a requirement, but as the teacher PP noted, it's about the state report card for the school, unlike the HS graduation requirements.[/quote]

I'm the first quote and I did not understand that it's a school requirement and not MCPS. I did not realize that schools could implement their own standards.
