It would make more sense if MCPS figured all this out before making this a requirement. Now, principals are in a tough position trying to ensure staffing, etc to fulfill this requirement. Have a plan in place, and then implement the requirements starting next year.
MCPS didn't make it a requirement. Some schools may have decided to make it a requirement, but as the teacher PP noted, it's about the state report card for the school, unlike the HS graduation requirements.
