If I had to compromise, I would get probably Volkswagen Atlas with  leather seats
as for this price it is huge but still looks cool and feels  like respectable car.

My college car was VW Golf and first family car was Passat, never once a problem in years.
Go visit their faiclities, they are European cars, European standards and they
have to keep up now especially after the farud with the fuel.

Tiguan 2019 model comes with  7 year warranty, so if it breaks it is on them
but just ask actual owners don't trust the internet anonymous posts.
