Only gross slobs don't wipe the machine down after they use it. Totally agree that it is very basic gym etiquette.  Work out at home all by yourself if you don't want to be bothered with wiping down the equipment for others.[/quote]

A stationary bike, a Jacob's ladder, some stair climbers, rowing machines- you can/should hold on to these. And certain people with balance issues should hold on to treadmills.

I'm tired of the snotty comments on here about not holding on to machines. Some machines are literally designed to be gripped the entire yime (eg, I dare you to row without holding it the whole time).[/quote]
