Yes UVA was tired. By the 2nd 1/2, all three UVA defenders had a yellows. If any of the three got another card, UVA would been a man down. Playing a man down on burnt out legs is no the way to go through life(or win a game). [/quote]

I don’t think you get it.  
NCAA rule allow all 11 players to be subbed out at once 
Players can re- enter the game 1 time in 2nd half 
So UVA with a lead and 3 players with yellow and united mightntactically have erred by not subbing in fresh legs to defend late in the 2nd half

Hindsight of course is 20/20.

But the original point was if UVA has tired players and a back line with yellows 
That maybe the smart move was to sub.  Alas UVA will never know.
