Considering you just called strangers garbage, your opinion doesn’t hold a ton of weight with me. In fact- hiding behind anonymity while calling others names is exactly the sort of things my ex would do. He doesn’t get a gift- see- abusive people who would call other humans “garbage” are the kind who think because they shot a load some years back, they deserve a lifetime of reverence. I disagree and I won’t help groom my children for abuse from others by teaching them to “buy” gifts they don’t mean. [/quote]

I don't need to know anything about the first PP to know that their behavior is garbage. Their behavior speaks for itself. If that's you, then you have further affirmed your status as garbage with your garbage rationalizing of your garbage behavior.

If you were not garbage you might understand that this is not about you, and your vast reservoir of spite for your XH. This is about your kids, and whatever [i]you [/i]might think about him, [i]they [/i]deserve to have a good relationship with him. It is not "grooming them for abuse" to do that. Nor are they "buying gifts they don't mean". The kids genuinely do want to give their dad a present.
