One of our kids had been sick and had explosive vomiting and diarrhea.  She got better just as the second kid caught it.  I was up day and night with kids and mopping up messes.  Then, the day before he was due to leave, I said, "Larlo, I'm worried; I think I might be getting sick," and he blurted, "oh that sucks for me!"

I was like, "for YOU?  You're getting on a plane tomorrow and I'm stuck with the kids!"

And I just thought, "wow, it's all about him, all the time."

He's got some really great other qualities, and loves me and I love him, but this thing niggles at me.  I don't think it's something you can change. [/quote]
