Were you home schooled by any chance?  What would “born Americans” have anything to do with it since the family was living in Norway?

This situation also has nothing to do with the family being Christian.

It has to do with being “foreign” in a country with stringent laws and a bias against people not born there plus a botched murder investigation of an 8 year old killed by his Lithuanian stepfather:
