This seems like Americans who go to countries with extreme laws about drug use, smoke weed, and are surprised when they end up in crappy prisons. If you're going to another country, it's advisable to have a basic understanding of what's allowed and what's not allowed. If you believe in corporal punishment, don't move to Norway.
