That school needs to be shut down. It's not serving the kids with that kind of violent culture. These are the same kids that fight at NOMA all the time and stabbed a fellow student last year.[/quote]

I guess all the schools in DC should be shut down then?  :roll: Violent culture outside of school comes into school. Most schools are safe places but weapons have made their way in. This isn't a KIPP problem, or a charter problem, or a DCPS problem. It's a community-wide problem and needs to be addressed both outside of school and inside of school.

Spend any time searching and a bunch of articles come up. Parents and school staff need to come together and come with solutions. Schools of all types need to be safe and no school is immune to this type of nonsense.[/quote]
