Walking to the metro from my DC house and then getting on a flight to Paris or Hong Kong after sitting on a train (for just $3!) is going to be so sweet. Reagan is nice but international flights need a bigger airport.[/quote] Depending on where you live, it can be quicker to connect through JFK from DCA than to fly out of Dulles, partially because of the distance but also because Dulles is poorly laid out and security is a mess. Plus a lot of airlines have nicer products out of JFK, especially if you are flying for work and can fly business class.[/quote]
