The Mormon or lds church has never been accepted as a Christian Church by ecumenical churches. You have a doctrine that differs too much and read a Bible version not recognized.
I do not understand why you claim to be mainstream Protestants
You cannot buy your way into the heavenly afterlife. You shall receive it regardless of how much money you throw at the alter.
I recommend reading church history. The doctrine of 10% is American Protestant, fairly new to the practice of Christian faith[/quote]
