When I was 15, my best friend was a boy. His family moved back to Lebanon. I knew that we’d never see each other again. And my parents wouldn’t let me go to his cousin’s house in DC for a huge goodbye party. We wrote letters to each other for the next 8 or 9 years, but it was not the same.[/quote]
