But why specifically are these kids wanting Hydroflasks? Lots of water bottles do all that, but several posters mentioned that their tween/teen girls had been repeatedly asking for Hydroflasks by name.

Because, frustratingly, all of the Bethesda moms on here just automatically buy their girls the brands of jeans / dresses/ shoes / etc.  and so they don't [i]have[/i] to beg for those, so they can beg for a $40 water bottle :roll:[/quote]

Not just Bethesda.  We're in upstate New York and kids are obsessed with Hydroflasks here, too!

From what I can tell, kids who play outdoor sports opt for the 32 oz because it holds more water, but the smaller size will fit better in the backpack once school starts.  Both are beloved by the tween/teen crowd.[/quote]
