I know several "kids" who didn't get their licenses until colleges. They all survived just fine. Hell, in the city I know lots of adults who only have a driver's license for ID> AS for getting more practice at 16, also not necessary. A 20 year old is more mature than an 18 year old who is more mature than a 16 year old. They tend to pick it up quickly and safely as they get older. There is absolutely nothing wrong with delaying a license if it doesn't affect your life.[/quote]
