So when you say “Apply for asylum legally,” you are being disingenuous. The Trump Administration has effectively shut down the legal avenue. That’s why you are seeing illegal border crossings for asylum seekers spiking like crazy.

There have been 680,000 crossers in 2019. How long do you think it takes to process each individual, provide an escort to a hospital for medical care and get each crosser settled? This is a manufactured crisis? CBP are catching diseases and we are looking at a 9/11 first responder crisis down the road, IMO. Congress will not protect these workers. They refuse. It is remarkable that union supporters are totally cool with the way these federal employees are being treated by lawmakers. It's blatant harassment and discrimination. [/quote]
