My DH and I have a combined annual income in the millions. Not kidding. And we got our teen driver a used Subaru. DH did. Ton of research about safest cars for teen drivers, and that was the winner. I wouldn’t but my kids new luxury cars. [/quote]

Many years ago I was a passenger in rear seat with no seat belt on and the car hit a tree head on at 60 miles per hour and did a triple roll over. A cop saw accident and told us he thought we would be dead

Well that four door Buick when I looked it up was consumer reports winner in that model year for safest car in a collision. The car was mangled but passenger compartment fine - but a top safety pick [/quote]
