OP, yes I do feel anxious when I hear sirens near my home, which is close to my son's HS. More so for you with a baby that doesn't have a phone at school. I can text my son any time. He texts me every day and always when there is a drill.

It is my top priority in 2020's vote, along with other parents and grandparents (party isn't a factor). First time voter students will make this a priority. They've also flipped their families from Republicans to dem or independent. I know 6 families who will vote for the candidate who makes gun control their top issue. My husband, a lifelong Republican, did not vote for Trump and will not vote Republican in the foreseeable future. [/quote]
