We'll take green and hang tight for a year.  I've been through this with another kid and I'm tired of playing the tryout game plus there really aren't other standout options both in terms of commute and quality (we're in DC). [/quote]

Also, I should say, we tried a lot of different clubs with my other (older) child.  Mclean has been our best experience both in terms of development and my child's overall experience. It's a well run organization (compared to others), the fields are great, the coaches have been very good (and also kind/decent people), the kids are nice.  Overall a positive experience which I can't say at all about our time at other clubs.  Maybe my expectations are too low but we've experienced much worse around the DMV.  So yes, we'll take green and the known vs. risking worse elsewhere.   [/quote]
