We thought Trump would be out of office by now, but he’s amazingly slippery, and his GOP enablers have been closing ranks and protecting him from prosecution for a while now.

Democrats are nicer than Republicans. They don’t fight as ferociously. They aren’t dirty hypocritical liars like the Republicans. Sure, there are some awful Democrats, but overall, they are kinder, gentler, more principled people who care about the poor and women and others traditionally left out of the power structure.

So, yeah, the walls have been closing in, but Dems lack the viciousness to crush Trump and his enablers, the GOP, so the walls are still standing, protecting that criminal.

The fight about subpoenas and witnesses between the House Democrats and the White House is astonishing, and might be the tipping point that pushes Democrats to fight harder and defeat the GOP and their Orange Putin. But maybe not. We’ll have to see if Nancy Pelosi can bite hard when the situation demands it, as it does today. [/quote]
