I don't know that you're being difficult, but you're behaving kind of tantrummy and blowing things way out of proportion, which is just inching up your anxiety. It's just a letter from the IRS - have you even tried googling "Why does the IRAS send certified mail?" Or calling them? They have a phone number you can call specifically about letters: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/understanding-your-irs-notice-or-letter and the reasons they send letters are not particularly scary, OP.

They most likely made a change to your return and are notifying you. This happens all the time. You are not special. You are not a criminal. People get audited sometimes randomly - if this is you, it's no biggie if you are operating legally. You need to chill out and use fewer capital letters in your screamy posts.
