But I’m conflicted about impeachment. I have no question that it’s the right and necessary thing to do, but I’m uncertain about the political implications. I’ve read everything I can on both sides, and I’m more confused now than ever. Unfortunately, a large part of our country is so purposefully ignorant and, frankly stupid, that if the argument for impeachment can’t be reduced to a catchy soundbite or physical proof of treason, then they won’t buy it.
