[/quote] I don't think impressing laypersons is what UIUC is all about. It's about the work, and that's absolutely fine. Anyone in E/CS who is supposed to know about it, already does. Gates has acknowledged that Microsoft hires more UIUC graduates than from any other university in the world. Intel hires more UIUC PhD grads than from any other university in the country. It's the national supercomputing center. If you don't know about it, it will survive. :lol: [/quote]
