Looking masculine in our society = short hair (often), no makeup, pants and non-form fitting clothes, comfortable shoes.

See what I mean? It’s a lot easier to look butch than it is to dress to impress men in a societally proscribed way. And when you get tired of dealing with men, you may no longer fell like shaving your legs and wearing heels.[/quote]

How is it less comfortable or harder to put on a pair of jeans and a women's button down shirt than it is to put on...a different pair of jeans and a man's button-down shirt? Serious question.

I get not wanting to wear dresses or skirts or heels for various reasons. But why and how is it harder to wear women's casual clothing or athletic wear than it is to wear men's clothing. Honestly asking. Same for comfortable shoes--women's wear includes flats, athletic shoes, loafers...

Short hair, sure, I see why that's easier. [/quote]
