We have not had any school trips anywhere I am curious as to whether these are funded by the county, does the county not offer the same resources to all schools[/quote] Churchill actually has very few to almost no fieldtrips as well. A shame given the close proximity to national resources and all Smithsonian Museums are free. Schools travel from all over the United States to learn from them but it is not a priority of MCPS to utilize resources in our own backyard. Perhaps the funding and opportunities should be built into the MCPS curriculum to provide students throughout Montgomery County historical diversity and cultural understanding. [/quote]
