I wonder why OP mentioned that there have been no school trips to the Holocaust museum?
We live upcounty and a school trip to DC would involve a lot of planning and logistics. Does the museum offer free admission?
Perhaps you just have a very wealthy PTA. We have not had any school trips anywhere

Churchill actually has very few to almost no fieldtrips as well. A shame given the close proximity to national resources and all Smithsonian Museums are free.  Schools travel from all over the United States to learn from them but it is not a priority of MCPS to utilize resources in our own backyard.

Perhaps the funding and opportunities should be built into the MCPS curriculum to provide students throughout Montgomery County historical diversity and cultural understanding. [/quote]
