Wyoming. Fly into Jackson Hole. Really cute nice airport. Visit the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. See Old Faithful. We took a private tour and the guide took where all the animals were. It was incredible. We did river float rafting. We stayed in Jackson Hole and we could walk to everything.
Please clarify. Did you mean you stayed in Jackson and walked around the very nice town? The national parks you mentioned are not really walkable.
I am guessing pp means Jackson. Many people confuse Jackson and Jackson Hole. Jackson is the town, which is very walkable. Jackson Hole is the valley and home to the ski resorts, which have shops and restaurants but there is more choice and interesting options imo in Jackson.
Also I wouldn't recommend staying in Jackson if you wanted to see Yellowstone. It is just so far away, not really great for day trips unless you want to spend 4-5 hours in the car every day just to get to the close parts of Yellowstone. Try to book a room in the park itself if you can.
