[/quote] That’s interesting to me because if it were something else like a circus, I’d probably keep my mouth shut. But moral judgement aside, her nephew is putting himself in danger. The rate of AIDS among sex workers is at least 12x higher than the general population, I’m sure it’s the same for other diseases too and maybe even higher than that if it’s gay prostitution. And while he may not be on drugs himself, he’s probably in the same circles as people who are, in addition to johns or angry husbands/boyfriends who beat up prostitutes. The profession absolutely does matter. He’s putting himself at huge risk and could easily get himself in some kind of situation that he might need family help to get out of, or end up dead. He needs to have somebody to turn to if he gets in over his head. I’d be mad about the lying but more worried than anything else. [/quote]
