How awful. Seems likely it was mental illness. My god.
Oh, he’s white so it’s “mental illness”.
Well, not sure, but it was either him or another relative that went to the Frost school and that is, in fact, for mentally ill kids. It starts in elementary school and kids are pretty severely affected. Our friends kid wouldn’t be alive today if not for that school. It looks like he has a very loving family. Poor family. I wonder how it came to be that they were at the park after dark or st the church when there were no services? That’s strange.
It’s not his current neighborhood and he would have passed other parks. May have been a completely random spot to pull over and try to talk if things were getting heated during a drive.
If that was the case that was one bad drive home for the mom. Young men are the most dangerous beings on the planet.
I think NBC said they left her home together at 5:30 and drive directly to the church. Very, very odd. Perhaps they are Catholic and hoped to get counsel from a priest?
It’s a great church. My kids went to preschool there for years and we loved that community. They didn’t have school or church activities there then they said so - no idea except what you said about meeting a priest. Mom would know why if that was the case. The church offices are closed now it says. That leaves meeting with a priest privately or planning a funeral. The parish office and meeting rooms will be closed Wednesday, December 26, 2018 through Tuesday, January 1, 2019, in observance of the Christmas and New Years holidays. We will re-open at 8:30 am on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. If you need a parish priest, please call the main number, 919-865-5700 and select option 4. To contact our Funeral Ministry, please call 865-5712.
