OP here. Exactly. As I mentioned earlier, this family will not be eligible for aid.  Nosey?  Not really. I did not ask their application status. It was shared publicly on social media, but in a strange way implying that she had not made a final decision...i.e. first acceptance so far and waiting for others. This is what I found confusing. You miss the original point.  She's not bound until the fa decisions are made, regardless of whether there is a genuine insufficiency.  It is a timing issuel.   [/quote]
