OP here. Exactly. As I mentioned earlier, this family will not be eligible for aid. Nosey? Not really. I did not ask their application status. It was shared publicly on social media, but in a strange way implying that she had not made a final decision...i.e. first acceptance so far and waiting for others. This is what I found confusing.
Not eligible for FA doesn’t mean not applying.
Doesn’t matter. She is bound unless they are not able to afford tuition and get no aid. They can easily swing the full pay.
