No.  They take Math 6 Hn, which covers 7th grade math, and take the 7th grade SOL.[/quote]

This is what APS was doing for kids taking Algebra in 7th.  The new path is designed to cover the 8th grade concepts in addition to 7th.  (They include 6th in the name but really kids taking that will have covered 6th grade in ES). [/quote]

So they aren't going to present ES kids with any concepts above grade level, even if they are thoroughly bored on grade level?  I certainly hope that's not true!  I'm glad my kids are past that and got challenging math in ES.  [/quote]
