The testing is supposed to last from 8 -11 a.m., which definitely does leave plenty of time for an essay portion of the exam, and would explain the need for pencils if COGAT is given electronically. I don't know one way or the other, but, logically, it seems like there might be an additional essay component.[/quote] Agree, it's hard to believe those programs would do away with an essay test. That was always their line--we don't need the application for a writing sample, we'll get it directly from the student on the test.[/quote]
