DD gets comments all of the time about how tall she is. She’s one of the tallest in her grade. She smiles and loves it, but she has a lot of self confidence. I always laugh and joke that she should enjoy it while it lasts. I’m 5’ 3” but was one of the tallest when I was young. I hit my adult height very early. DH is not a tall man.
My DD has been tall since she was a toddler and she loves being tall. However, she seems to have stopped growing at 13 and 5'5" while her BFFs are now taller than her. She is not happy to have ended up average height. At least in her circle of friends, being a tall girl does not seem to be a negative (unless the parents make it one!)
