No. Cellulite has nothing to do with birth control and everything to do with your skin losing elasticity and showing fat more. Want to reduce the appearance of cellulite- quit running and do weight lifting. Adding muscle will hide cellulite. Running is doing nothing to firm up your fat which is what cellulite is.
Agree. I'm 48 with very, very little cellulite. I still don't have any on back of my legs---just a tiny bit near butt as I've aged. I've been on the Pill for decades. I am thinking you should do a full thyroid panel. I had spotting around 41 like you non-stop. I had everything checked, TSH thyroid level was normal. I had pelvic ultrasound, etc. They just said it was perimenopause. I was not satisfied and demanded my GP run the full thyroid panel (regular physical just tests for TSH). Low and behold---I was right. I had anti-thyroid antibodies which indicated I have Hashimoto's. Hashimoto's causes all those symptoms--inability to lose weight/weight gain, irregular periods/spotting--even depression, high cholesterol, melasma, lethargy/tiredness.
