What I fear is we may not have free and fair (its a relative phrase, but I mean not interfered by foreign power) election anymore. GOP will remain in power in 2018 and 2020. Trump will ruin all protections for citizens, pack the judiciary with incompetent sycophants and GOP will not have any check on him. Citizen will tune out news media and trump will curtail news media's power while empowering Fox (or some other media) as the state media. By 2024, we would be a authoritarian oligarchic country like Russia, having elections with no power in the hand of people.[/quote]
My theory is that the GOP has been swaying elections via their Republican owned voting machines for years, and that there is evidence of this on the RNC emails that were hacked. Hence the GOP fealty to Russia.[/quote]
