The whole diamond industry sickens me. SO many women don't seem to care so I don't tend to think less of women with diamond engagement rings, unless they announce proudly that they "don't care" about blood diamonds, as I once heard someone do. Go screw yourself. OTOH, if I meet a woman with a non-diamond engagement ring (or none at all), I do give her points. My engagement ring is a sapphire.[/quote]
