ASF is a mix of Key zone kids, with some kids from Taylor (ASF neighborhood) and Jamestown districts.  The unspoken and danced around issue at the meetings was the false belief that whomever is elected to the new PTA positions will be able to tell the School Board whether the teachers and staff at ASF will stay at the ASF building, or will teacher and staff and science-y things be transferred to the Key building, along with the Key zoned students.  The community is still coming to terms with the recent staff guidance and trying to determine how to proceed.[/quote]

Anyone who thinks the ASF PTA is going to be able to dictate anything to the staff about how this transition happens is delusional.[/quote]
