I'd go Frick and then Berliner. Elrich is way too liberal, Leventhal is a jerk, and the others don't have the right experience. But like a PP said, most people don't follow the elections, so the democratic primary is when the exec will be effectively decided. Since there aren't open primaries, I, like 30% of registered voters in MoCo with no affiliation, won't be able to make such a choice in the primaries.
Silly to argue Frick has more relevant experience than Krasnow, leaving aside that he can't seem to decide which elected office he wants to run for.
Frick is currently a MD delegate, and worked to end the DLC (liquor) monpoly. Krasnow has been out of the game for over a decade.
Being deputy director of the Planning Department hardly qualifies as "out of the game". Elrich is a hypocrite. He says that he supports transit, but then he accuses the Planning Department of "ethnic cleansing" on the Purple Line route. He says that he's not part of the government, he's a community activist -- after 19 years on the Takoma Park City Council and three four-year terms on the Montgomery County Council.
