I have a hard time with this as my father is the exact opposite. He has a very well known and respected career and commands a room with his presence.

Was this an arranged marriage? Did you not know what he did for a living, how he spokes or how he commands a presence or not?

Let me guess -- desperate for marriage and babies and he agreed so you went with it, and now you wish you had held out for a CEO of a regional company type of guy - even though when you were dating that guy wasn't calling?[/quote]
